Warranty Solutions is a complete ripoff they do honor their word and give you the runaround

I needed a belt replaced and they are stating that the dealership should charge 30 minutes to repace a serpentine belt, a coolant and a tension puller. They stated that is what other repair center times are so they would not honor my warranty policy because it was less than my deductible. they told me one story my husband another and the service center another. They do not know what they are doing the reps a saying one thing and doing another . I am tired of this one company. Once we did our research they gave an additional 30 minutes which still was not enough. This company tells lies and we asked for the manager name and they stated NO we will not give that to you. The number on the website under contact us is to a nursing facility.

Running boards broke

The motors on my power running board were bad, took it in to get fixed but there was rust on my back brackets due to living where I love with the weather, they claim they won't cover it because it's not mechanical or electrical. Tried calling and asking a customer rep, all that I talked to were complete *** and one hung up on me because I kept pressuring him about talking to a manager. They act like you're such a burden to them when asking for information. I would never buy anything from these people again.unprofessional people on the phone and tries to *** any chance they get so they don't have to pay for repairs. Told them I was a disabled veteran that relied on the running boards to help me in and out of the car and was told that it was between me and the dealership.

Beware

They will do whatever necessary to deny you. They will cite warranty records aren't valid per the manual, not call the dealer while the car is in for repair. They'll put on a professional call or two until you push them, then the true colors come out. I've never had a supposed professional speak the way this guy did to me. It's tough to pin down an address or anything for them. The AZ attorney general tried to help me, but in the end they just wear you down and hope you give up. DO NOT buy from this guy. I paid about $4300 for a 100k mile policy on my 06 Range Rover Sport and have been denied every time trying to use it. I've got a recorded call of this guy cursing at me, threatening me, etc. So if you're gonna buy, I'll send it to you and save you a headache. The guy is a loose cannon.

Wow, unbelievable that this scam continues! I was scammed in 2010 out of several thousand.

I google search Wayne Craig complaints once every 6mo or so and it is shocking that they are still taking peoples money! Every complaint says the same thing. He will yell, scream and threaten you until you go away!

It disgusts me that he continues to operate this scam of a business. He threatened to bury me and I am not so sure he wouldn't!

Filed a Complaint with the AG office

Copy of the letter I sent to the AZ AGs office. I would like to file a class action lawsuit if there is support of the cost. February 1, 2012 Arizona Attorney General Consumer Complaints Attention: Myrna Pacheco 1275 West Washington Phoenix, AZ 85007 Re: Genuine Warranty Solutions, Inc. Dear Myrna, Thank you for inviting my response. Your willingness to review this matter is greatly appreciated. My experience with Genuine Warranty Solutions Inc. (GWS) may be summarized as follows: A. 12/10/10: purchased GWS extended warranty with upgrade to include lower $50.00 deductible and warranty of wear and tear to be included, air suspension system, and air bags. Total cost $5,238.00, of which $1,037.00 was for the air suspension system. (See attached reference letters to Chase Bank for more detail.) o 30 day waiting period and 1,000 miles before coverage began. B. 12/11/10: inspection by Midas for GWS. See invoice #60370 for $97.37. C. 2/1/11 (not long after the waiting period ended): car taken to Jaguar Land Rover Austin (JLA) dealership at 1515 West 5th Street, Austin, Texas 78703, (512) 236-****. a. Chris Mathews, service consultant, reported needed repairs to GWS and me as follows: i. Air block had failed but, as would be learned later, was still covered under Land Rover Range Rovers' (RR) warranty. Range Rover's warranty covered the air block part. I asked if GWS would cover the labor. For GWS to make an issue of a pre-existing air block problem and characterize it as an attempt by me to "scam" them is misleading, at best, and outright dishonest, at worst. ii. AC control module needed to be replaced. iii. LED screen completely blank and in need of repair. Radio-dial controls not performing properly and in need of repair/replacement. 1. GWS' attempt to cover the repair consisted of sending a used LED screen with a scratch across the screen and the right rear fin broken off such that only one side would connect. 2. JLA advised against installation and for return of the broken LED screen, which advice I followed. 3. GWS contended JLA must have broken the LED screen because it was allegedly in pristine condition when shipped. This is a fabrication by GWS. GWS reported to CC Chase that they paid either 340.00 by Jim McNeil word or 439.00 by Wayne M. Craig. The company that supplied the part might tell the truth about its condition and not side with GWS version of its condition. Invoice to GWS from Coventry West Inc. gives the amount as 300.00 plus 44.59 shipping for 344.59. Contact information: 2101 Randall Road, Lithonia, Georgia 30058 8**-**12193 or 770-581-**** Sales person Scott Baker. The VIN number of the used part is salpv1246TA340556. On 4-27-11, WC the CEO called me a liar in his report to CC Chase stating the part was never returned and reported to cc that it had been installed. "¢ CarFax history of the used a/c control module Vehicle: 1996 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SE (VIN: SALPV1246TA340556) The used part came off a 1996, 7 year older vehicle. 4. 3/28-11 ANR 3900 Suspension compressor $551.00. GWS did not provide coverage. iv. Subwoofer part of the sound system needed to be replaced. Waiting on part Total invoiced amt: $1,142.67 none of which was covered by GWS. D. 6/18/11: replaced muffler and steering damper (steering part provided by me and not included in this cost). $117.26 cost born by me, not GWS. E. 7/11: I purchased out of pocket an air block control unit for >$500.00. GWS did not provide coverage. F. 11/14/11: Body Electrical Control Module (BECM) failed. The BECM controls virtually every electrical function on the vehicle. In addition, the right front door latch, starter motor, and relay. Parts of the front-end suspension were two spindles, and ball joints that needed repair. The cost of repair for these items was estimated by JLA at $4,145.04. See invoice #119494. a. GWS categorically refused to cover any of these repairs using the bogus "litigation" excuse (please see the discussion below regarding GWS' bogus equation of legal representation with "litigation"). b. In effect, GWS unilaterally and illegally suspended it warranty. G. 12/9/11: replaced door latch, starter, relay, replaced BECM, spindles, ball joints at the cost of, $4,145.04. GWS refused to cover the repairs using the spurious excuse that the warranty was suspended because of "litigation" (see below *). H. 1/17/12: air block controller and pressure switch installed and A/C control head replaced. >$500 for labor only for air block controller installation (part previously purchased by me), $210.79 for switch (part), and $225 for labor to install the air block control module, all paid by me. A/C control module repaired: $599.99 parts, $40.00 labor. See attached invoice #120828 at 108,310 miles. In denying coverage for the air suspension system, GWS relies upon the fact that I had installed air lines to pump up the air bags when in an emergency situation in conjunction with the following GWS warranty contract provision: (5.) Stating from GWS contract. Any alterations which have been made to your vehicle, or you are using or have used on your vehicle in a manner which is not recommended by the manufacturer including the failure of any custom or add-on part. The provision states "alterations" or "add-on part" are not covered. Note, however, the provision does not state the underlying system is not covered, only the alteration or add-on part. Hence, under the GWS warranty contract language, the air suspension system should have been covered, but not the add-on. Because of its non-coverage, I asked GWS to refund the $1,037.00 extra cost for air suspension system coverage. Wayne Craig, CEO of GWS, promised the refund but then reneged. Because GWS has effectively covered nothing under its warranty, I asked my credit card company, through which the GWS warranty was purchased, to reverse the charges. I reviewed the materials GWS provided my credit card company. It was inaccurate, misleading, and inflammatory. Ultimately, my credit card company determined it did not have enough information to uphold reversal of the charges. When GWS was notified of my request for charge reversal, I received a threating call from the GWS CEO, Wayne M. Craig. At that juncture, I asked, Ryan Krebs, my attorney, to call GWS and request that all future contact by GWS be through him. *As you may see from its communications, GWS takes the position that involvement of my attorney as a contact person constituted "litigation" and, from there, inexplicably jumps to the conclusion that, because there is "litigation", GWS is under no obligation to cover anything under its warranty contract, including future repairs. This is patently absurd. There has never been any litigation. They were never served papers nor was a lawsuit filed. To be sure, involvement of an attorney does not constitute litigation and certainly does not negate GWS' obligation to make good on its warranty contract going forward. When my credit card company upheld the charges for the GWS warranty, I proceeded as though I had an intact GWS warranty and attempted to use the warranty for the next repair. My credit card company asked GWS to reinstate the warranty since GWS had been paid, there never had been any litigation, and there was no ostensible or legitimate reason to suspend the warranty. Shalonda Logwood, Quality Customer Care Specialist with my credit card company, called me to report that GWS not only refused to honor their warranty, but was decidedly unpleasant. She suggested I sue GWS. Ms. Logwood with Chase Bank may be reached at 800-475-**** ext. 6-7591. You have my permission to speak with her. My credit card ends in 0693. GWS' suggestion that I was scamming them is complete nonsense. At the outset, I informed GWS about the air block repair around that was repaired on or about April 2010. That GWS points to the air block, as a reason not to honor its warranty for other repairs is a complete ruse. In effect, the "satisfied response" affidavit proposed by GWS, would give GWS a carte blanche pass on not only past, but incredibly, future conduct as well. How can anyone possibly claim satisfaction for events that have not yet occurred? This gives you clear insight into the deranged mindset at GWS. To date, I have paid $11,115.00 for both the extended warranty and repairs out of pocket, all of which should have been covered under the GWS warranty. This amount does not include some of the items deemed pre-existing and then paid by me. The only payment GWS has made is for an inspection by Hector Cantu, shipping and a refund for the damaged/unusable LED screen GWS sent to JLA. JLA refuses to deal with GWS. JLA had been willing to make an exception to deal with GSW on my behalf because of my 24 years of being a customer. I am but one of many customers with GWS extended car warranties with bad faith issues. For more information please contact Jack Taylor Gold Certified Service Manager Master Guild Member jtaylor@***.com 512-236-****. He is expecting your contact. Ryan Krebs can be reached at, ryan@***.com or 512-478**** for legal references. At this juncture, GWS is unwilling to cover repairs and honor their contract for not only past, but future repairs as well, despite being paid for such. The "legal hold" on coverage claimed by GWS has no basis in law. The affidavit prepared by GWS would have me swear to satisfaction with GWS' future conduct. My dissatisfaction with GWS' past conduct gives me no basis to swear to its future conduct. Even if I had been satisfied with past conduct, I still could not swear to satisfaction with conduct that has not yet occurred. In effect, GWS wants a get-out-of-jail-free card. I would like to see you shut down GWS and protect others from its bad faith practices. Failure To Live Up To Their Promise

From Las Vegas to Missouri our truck broke down - They refused to take accountability to help us fix the truck, knowing that we were out of our local area and said they were not going to help until they had proof that the truck had been maintenanced properly. Really? We are almost 2 thousands miles from home. Reality is they left us there to fend for ourselves. Actually cussed us out on the phone. I am too polite to say the exact words. Basically the Company doesnt care and left us stranded. Out of pocket expense goes beyond what we could have ever imagined. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THEIR WEBSITE! WHICH STATES 99% SATISFACTION. THEY LIE! DO THEY REALLY HAVE AN OFFICE? OR JUST A SCAM....WHY IS IT THEY ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO GUARENTEES AFTER MARKET TRUCKS? BECAUSE THEY DON'T!

Scam - took my money for extended warranty but declined to pay for valid work

This outfit is a scam, They were shut down in Florida operating under another name. They are not an insurance company so they can't be regulated. Complaining with the insurance bureau is a waste of time as they have no power over these crooks. If you read your contract, nowhere does it say insurance. They have VERY CAREFULLY avoided using this word. If you have $4,000 to throw away, give them your money. I cannot believe these sort of people are allowed to operate. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GENUINE WARRANTY. You'll be VERY SORRY. I have been taken for a ride and don't want the same to happen to you.

Genuine warranty solutions scam!

Recently purchased a warantee policy ($4,100) for my 355 Ferrari. First claim was denied without a reason. Five months later I filed another claim, denied without any reason. Filed a complaint with my state AG. I found out Genuine warranty is not licenced to sell their policies in my state. I was informed that based on GWS fraud in selling me a policy in a state thety are not licenced I will receive a refund. You need to check with your state to see if you can also receive a refund. Wayne Craig is the CEO. He runs the scams!

I also had the same experience with these crooks. My S-600 was denied a claim for no reason.

I filed suit in my state and found out they were not licensed to sell policies in my state.

I received a refund after a 4month court battle. Someone should pay a visit to this *** bag.

Will not honor it's contract

I purchased a Genuine Warranty extended warranty for a 2006 Range Rover thru Warranty 4 Wheels, who sells these worthless policies. I paid $3200 for that policy. I also decided to purchase another Genuine Warranty policy for another car and paid $2200 for that one. I was told that both policies cover everything that the manufacturer's warranty would cover. However, I was never told that you have to pay a deductible per every part needing repair if you bring your car in to an authorized repair shop. To the average person, this would be good information to know to make an informed decision when deciding to purchase an extended warranty. The language in the Genuine contract reads as if you pay one deductible every time your car is needing repair, no matter how many parts are needed to fix the problem. At the end of April 2011, I began getting error messages on the dashboard of the 2006 Range Rover. I took it in to a Land Rover dealership and they ran a diagnostic on the car. The dealership discovered that the error messages were due to the compressor for the suspension and the fuel pump, both of which needed to be replaced for a total of $1700, plus the costs for the diagnostic. No problem I think. Good thing I purchased an extended warranty. Wrong! Genuine said it would not cover the fuel pump because the costs for the part and labor is less than my $500 deductible. They would cover the cost of the compressor, but Genuine would only approve 0.4 hour (no you did not read this wrong) to remove the existing compressor and put in a new one when the dealership was requesting 3 hours of labor to perform this work. How does that even seem reasonable? Finally, the dealership would have to run diagnostics again after putting in the new parts to reset the computer system, but Genuine will not cover this. So out of a $1700 bill, Genuine is only going to pay $250. So in addition to paying $3200 for a policy that doesn't cover anything, I have to come out of pocket an additional $1450 for the repairs. What's the point of having an extended warranty? When I called Wayne at Warranties 4 Wheels to complain about the lack of coverage and the misrepresentations about the policies that were made when I bought them from Warranties 4 Wheels, he was very rude and told me that people like me were trying to get over. I paid over $5000 for two worthless policies. How am I trying to get over? Wayne refuses to give me my money back and cancel the policies despite the fact that I did not get the repairs done on the Range Rover and nothing was ever been paid out by Genuine under either policy I purchased. Bottom line: DO NOT PURCHASE A GENUINE WARRANTY POLICY AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM WARRANTY 4 WHEELS! I have reported both companies to the Better Business Bureau. I have gotten my credit card company involved, which I used to make the payments. I live in Texas, so I am filing complaints with the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Since both Genuine and Warranty 4 Wheels are Arizona companies, I'm also covering all bases by filing a complaint with the Arizona Department of Insurance. It is very time consuming. However, I believe both companies are engaging in fraudulent practices and must be stopped. I encourage all who have experienced similar problems with these companies to do the same. The more complaints, the quicker state governments where these companies do business will take action on behalf of defrauded consumers. I'm out $5000-plus, but I will not go down without a fight.

I purchased a 2006 dodge charger from a reputable dealer here in Indiana. I thought I was buying the warranty from them.

Nope, now my car is having several problems and all should be covered by my 3 star plus warranty but I was told no. Now I'm going to sue the dealer.

If you want my help in a class action suit against them email me! Donnieottflooring@***.com

Or if you are still considering, please let me know. My email rajib.namin at google's email server (you know what that is...I am not putting it out to so that robots can't get it).

I purchased a 2006 Saturn Vue from Independance Auto Sales in Lynnwood Wa Nove 2011. Jim (our sales guy) asked us if we wanted a warrant well...duh!

So...my steering box and power pump (or something like that) went out. I contacted Warranty Solutions and they said that Jim had signed us up for a 3 star warranty and so this won't be covered at it's going to cost us over 1800.00!! When it went out I thought thank god for warranties, umm yeah. I am NOT happy about this!

How can you pay a extra 2-3000 for a warranty and then come to find out that the "part" that you need fixed isn't going to be covered. They are "stealing" peoples money but doing it "legally" I'm VERY pissed off! I have contacted the BBB but really doubt that they are going to do anything about this.

How can these dealerships get away with screwing people and sleep at night! Really?

Guest

You are absolutely correct, they are unscrupulous scammers who won't honor claims and who misappropriate credit card numbers. I have had to change my debit card number several times (4) after beginning my contract with them.

Strange purchases across the country would show up starting with iTunes and then Majick Jack, FTD flowers, even a grocery store in Virginia. Eventually, I authorized them to do a bank draft and I haven't had anymore issues.

Guest

Anyone who has used a credit card to purchase a warranty from them (or warranty for wheels which is the same guy's company) ...call your credit card and get a new account number issued. Check your statement about 1 year after you paid for the warranty for fraudulent charges.

Luckily my credit card company spotted them for me. Selling bogus warranties is not the only way these guys are making money.

This company states they sell warranties that cover the vehicle, which is what they state. The issue is, when you take your vehicle in for warranty work, they deny paying any type of claim for the vehicle. The CEO has some major issues, 1st with language, and secondly, when he tried using the literal meaning of a word, and I read to him the true meaning out of the dictionary, he proceeded to call me an *** and say I couldn't use the English version, I needed the European Version. I pulled up the dictionary online and read that mean, he then comes back and says you can't use the literal meaning.

This company should not be in business. You can't get your money back due to it being a 30 day window to cancel your policy, to which you really wouldn't know if it worked or not.

There is no honor or integrity to this group. DO NOT BUY!

Have you researched the laws in your state about auto warranty policies?

The underwriter that is on the copy of your warranty in England is all a lie. They have no insurance backer that's way you have to call Wyane its a Ponzi Scheme.

The repairs they do cover is from the money they get from other customers. They have no insurance license of any kind.

The most funny thing about there so called Home office is thats the funny part it"S a home!!!! google there address for both companies the houses are next to each other.

Genuine Warranty Solutions will not cover repairs

Please look carefully into the fine print in the contract for extended warranties through Genuine Warranty Solutions. In the second half of the contract, they have one sentence that resolves them of any responsibility in paying for repairs if they are related to a recall or technical service bulletin. Recalls I understand, but a TSB is merely an instruction to technicians in order to make the repair properly. Quoted from the manager at our local Land Rover dealership, "Every part of a car is related to a technical service bulletin, so they will never have to pay for repairs if they don't want to." Huge rip off, we paid for this *** extended warranty and now have to pay for every repair anyway as it is obvious they will pull this again. We will be filing in small claims court. Advised by a lawyer in our family--the maximum value allowed to be claimed in small claims court is $5000. But the best part is that no lawyers are allowed, so the insurance company is not allowed to send a lawyer, just someone who works for the company. They will have advice and training from the company lawyer, of course, but you can get your own legal advice as well. Good luck if you choose to do this, but if it is not too late, DON't BUY THIS WARRANTY!!

I'm in the same shoes. They will not honor the warranty, and would not explain why.

They just hung up the phone on me as soon as I asked for a written explanation.

Planning to take them to court as well, please advise when you find out more info about filing a case. I was event told that we could try class action trial as well.

Thanks

I am trying to file my own lawsuit against genuine warranty solutions, but due to the amount of my lawsuit i have to file in civil court instead of small claims because it exceeds $5000.00. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out what state and jurisdiction i need to file in because they have several different address' listed on all their documents.

can you tell me where you filed your lawsuit and if you have had any luck yet? thanks!

Genuine Warranty Solutions - just takes your money

I too purchased a warranty through a dealership in May of 2010. I sold the vehicle in August 2011 and GWS refuses to give me a prorated refund. I followed the steps outlined in the contract and after 60 days of no resolution writing letters and using the BBB I requested an arbitration hearing as outlined in the contract. GWS refuses to participate in the hearing because "the BBB always sides with the consumer", "they no longer have their accreditation with the BBB" so they feel they don't have to participate. Conversation with the rep in Arizona turned frightening. When I told him I would use the resources available to me by law i.e. BBB or Small Claims the guy lost it. He told me no one held a gun to my head and forced me to sign the contract. He said I've dealt with women like you before and then he said if I filed a lawsuit he would file a counter-claim trying to scare me. I told him I have a legal background and go ahead. I contacted an attorney and at the time gave me good advice but now reading all this stuff I can now go to small claims and file a suit for breach of contract since they refuse to go to arbitration. I've filed a complaint with the AZ Attorney General's Office and also with the AZ Department of Insurance. GWS's license to do business in Arizona expired in December 2011. I'm not sure what else can be done to stop this company, but those living in Arizona should contact one of the local TV stations and get them involved.

Breach of Contract - Genuine Warranty Solutions

I purchased a warranty then I sold the car. Genuine Warranty Solutions (GWS) refuses to give me a prorated refund for the warranty. I followed the contract and submitted a claim with the BBB and requested an arbitration hearing and GWS refuses to participate. I've filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office in Arizona and I also filed a Complaint with the Department of Insurance and I found out their license to do business in Arizona expired in December 2011. My next step is to take them to small claims court. I'm trying to find out how I can get a copy of their contract they are using to see if they are still using the BBB as a resource for conflict of resolution.

Just my 2 cents

Wayne Craig and his marry gang of scam artist criminals need to all stick each others heads up each others collective *** and jump. They are nothing but a scam. Don't purchase from them unless you like to throw money in the trash. File a report with the BBB but it most likely will not get you anywhere because the bbb is a scam too. They will deny your claim and not even give you a logical reason. They will call you scream at you like maniacs. They will threaten you. They are crazy. Buyer be aware that you have just been scammed sweetheart.

I was ripped off also by GWS and would be interested in joining in on a class action lawsuit, it is not just about getting my money back, I would just like to make sure they are stopped from stealing money from people. They are the biggest fraud I believe I have ever dealt with.

Anyone who has used a credit card to purchase a warranty from them (or warranties 4 wheels which is the same guy's company) ...call your credit card and get a new account number issued. Check your statement about 1 year after you paid for the warranty for fraudulent charges.

Luckily my credit card company spotted them for me. Selling bogus warranties is not the only way these guys are making money.

I'm also interested in the class action suit. I'm in Santa Clara, CA.

These people need manners

After reading all those complaints clients toward GENUINE warranty, i am totally agree with those PISSED clients. This is a piece of crab warranty company. I bought my car a few months back and got introduced to this company by the guy who sold the car to me. After 8 months, my car need to fix the line of transmision oil. I call them and talked to a dude name Jim and guess what, he sat there and lecture me and then when i disagreed with what i've been told, he HUNG UP on me just like that. What a ***. I am going to report this company to BBB and bring this *** to court because i paid for "Bumper to bumper warranty" and now he claimed that this isn't under warranty.

Wayne wont transfer my warranty

1. Written by hiten, on 22-02-2010 21:35 Just got a call from Wayne (I guess he is the CEO of this shady company). He refuses to honor the transfer of my extended warranty on my maserati, because he says that they did not receive my transfer docs within 7 days. I had called the company 2 days after purchasing my car, and had faxed them the docs. They called me the same day and asked me to send them in mail the same form, and a $100 transfer fee. (never mentioning the time sensitivity of this process). seems like this is a new low for these guys. I am not even asking them to pay for any repairs yet. Wayne Got rude with me on the phone and told me "I don't have to do *** that I don't want to". Nice language for a ceo of the company. I guess I will be taking these crooks to court, because this warranty was a big reason for me to buy this perticular car.

You're lucky that you didn't have a repair or have to buy the warranty up front. Talk to the person who you purchased the car from and see if you can get some relief there.

I'm all for a class action law suit and have someone that will take it on if there are enough people willing to be part of it.

It's a costly process doing it on your own. Been there done that.

Genuine Auto Warranty is a scam

They charge the deductable on each individual problem not on the whole bill and that is if you can get them to cover anything. This company is a rip off. They don't tell you everything upfront and their advertising is misleading. Stay away from them. They say that this mimics the factory warranty, that is BS ,they use the small print to exclude almost everything. The wear and tear coverage is a complete joke it also covers nothing that has to do with wear & tear. In short this is a bad product and a bad company, stay away from them.

my story is much like the rest of you. Great promises of exclusionary terms, but getting paid is a test of will.

Like many of you, my experience with Wayne is he is rude, does not listen, etc. wonder if a class action law suit is the way to go?

I purchased a Genuine Warranty extended warranty for a 2006 Range Rover thru Warranty 4 Wheels, who sells these worthless policies. I paid $3200 for that policy.

I also decided to purchase another Genuine Warranty policy for another car and paid $2800 for that one. I too was told that both policies cover everything that the manufacturer's warranty would cover. However, I was never told that you have to pay a deductible per every part needing repaired. The language in the contract reads as if you pay one deductible every time your car is needing repair, no matter how many parts are needed to fix the problem.

At the end of April 2011, I began getting error messages on my dashboard. I took it in to the Land Rover dealership and they ran a diagnostic on the car. It turns out that the compressor for the suspension and the fuel pump need replacing for a total of $1700 plus the costs to run the diagnostic. No problem I think.

Good thing I purchased an extended warranty. Wrong! Genuine said it would cover the pump because the costs for the part and labor is less than my $500 deductible. They would cover the cost of the compressor, but Genuine would only approve 0.4 hour (no you did not read this wrong) to remove the existing compressor and put in a new one when the dealership was requesting 3 hours of labor to perform this work.

How does that even seem reasonable. Finally, the dealership would have to run diagnostics again after putting in the new parts to reset the computer system, but Genuine will not cover this. So out of a $1700 bill, Genuine is only going to pay $250. So in addition to paying $3200 for a policy that doesn't cover anything, I have to come out of pocket an additional $1450.

What's the point of having an extended warranty. When I called Wayne at Warranties 4 Wheels to complain about the lack of coverage and the misrepresentations about the policies that were made when I bought them, he was very rude and told me that people like me were trying to get over. I paid over $5000 for two worthless policies. How am I trying to get over.

Wayne refuses to give me my money back and cancel the policies despite the fact that I did not get the repairs done on the Range Rover and nothing was ever paid out by Genuine under either policy I purchased. Bottom line: DO NOT PURCHASE A GENUINE WARRANTY POLICY AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM WARRANTY 4 WHEELS!

I am another customer of Genuine Warranty that got ripped off. I bought the Factory Warranty for 2006 Bentley, it says it mimics the factory warranty, but they would not pay for 3 claims that Bentley said they would cover had I had the warranty from bentley.

They took $4600 from me. It's a total scam.

Guest

Same guy signed my contract but refusing to pay the claim. Bought the policy 4 months ago and telling me it is pre-existing condition.

Such a dishonest company. Please be careful and report to BBB or your state insurance regulator.
